The ASHVINS Group has been awarded the “Information and Technology Consulting Services State Term Contract” by the State of Florida, Department of Management Services. For the qualifying firms selected by the State of Florida, this IT Consulting Services Contract is effective for three (3) years from the award date (September 4, 2009) and covers four project areas: (1) Analysis and Design, (2) Development and Integration, (3) Operational Support and (4) Staff Augmentation. The ASHVINS Group was awarded the contract in all four project areas. State Agencies and Other Eligible Users (OEUs) will use Prime Contractors awarded in Project Areas 1, 2 and 3 to contract for work on specific projects. Agencies and OEUs will use “Project Area 4” when staff augmentation services from awardees that possess the technical skills are needed by the client organization on a contingent assignment basis. The State of Florida scores and selects firms for this highly competitive contract based on financial stability, technical expertise, references and pricing.
